About Me

My name is Jane and I'm passionate about helping people navigate loss. Since starting my counselling journey I have worked with people who have been bereaved, helping them when they become stuck and don't know how to move on. Helping them understand how they can continue with life when the person they love is no longer here. Standing alongside them to support and maybe guide them. Everyone's grief is different and everyone's journey is different. Talking to a counsellor can help find a different perspective and give the opportunity to explore thoughts and feelings that may be difficult to share with friends and family.

I work in an integrative way which means that I adapt my approach to suit you and your unique needs. I am a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and work to their ethical standards. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me and ask.

Bereavement Counselling

Everyone's grief journey is different. Some people need lots of support and guidance, some need to understand that what they are experiencing is normal and some just need an outlet to share and process their emotions. Often we don't know what we need until we start. So my approach is flexible, meeting your needs for either short-term or long-term work; or even occasional sessions for when times get tough.

I am a trained bereavement counsellor working with all sorts of loss and all sorts of clients. From those receiving end of life care, to unexpected and traumatic loss; from partners and family, to colleagues and friends. So if you think that I can help you navigate and make sense of YOUR loss, book an initial FREE chat and see if I'm the right person to support you on your journey.

Baby Loss Counselling

In addition to working with clients who have lost friends or family, it has been my privilege over the last 4 years to work as a counsellor with Petals, a charity offering specialist counselling for baby loss. Working with individuals and couples experiencing loss through miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal loss and Termination for Medical Reasons (TFMR). Losing a baby can be a lonely, dark and scary place, but I can help you find the light again and hope for the future.

And for other family members such as grandparents, siblings or friends, affected by the loss of the baby, I can help hear your grief, and support you as you support your loved ones. If you would like to talk about how I can help you process your loss and find hope again please book a FREE initial chat.

You've done the hard bit getting here, so

I know that it can be scary talking to stranger about personal, private things but I promise to be as kind and compassionate as I can be. This is where an initial, no-obligation chat can be really helpful. After all, it's really important to find someone you trust to support you on this journey.

I offer sessions on Zoom, enabling you to access support wherever you are.
